Ilkeek Aare Primary School is located some distance from the nearest town in Narok County, Suswa. Every day this distance has to be covered for shopping and other errands.

The school car is a centerpiece of the functioning school day. It gets sick students to the nearest doctor quickly, and the security of having a transport vehicle on site is of great value.

Unfortunately, the existing vehicle has not been usable for over a year. Repairs to the bodywork, missing spare parts and a generally urgently needed inspection were long overdue.

We have now arranged for the vehicle to be taken to an authorized workshop in Nairobi and repaired. Once repaired, an important piece of student safety returns to IAPS.
